ABOUT US
Our stunning wedding venue with its majestic Morton Bay Fig trees is an historic but still working cattle farm located 5 minutes south of Kiama on 61.5 acres of rolling hills and sweeping gullies, overlooking Loves Bay and the deep blue of the ocean. The ruins of the bluestone 1856 Bush Bank Mill adds to the picturesque vista and backdrop for photographs of your special day.
We are dedicated to maintaining the farming lifestyle and you will find chooks and two dogs along with the 40 head of cattle. We maintain a vegetable and herb garden and citrus orchard. Martin Papac our executive chef uses our farm and local produce whenever possible to create the delicious fresh flavours of his seasonal menus which are designed exclusively for Bush Bank.
ACCOMMODATION PACKAGE
As this is a family business, we encourage guests to feel at home and enjoy the farm. We offer a B&B accommodation package for the bridal party in the 1918 Federation homestead. This comfortable accommodation offers three guest bedrooms, all with en-suites that can sleep up to 8 people in a king bed room, 4 single beds room and a queen bed room.
A guest lounge also forms part of the accommodation package, where hair and make-up can be done with a private verandah opening up from the French doors which provides spectacular views whilst getting ready and for the getting ready photographs. The bridal party usually stay on-site in a very relaxed getting ready atmosphere without the worry of getting cars to arrive on time! Venue management is on hand to help keep everybody well cared for.
Sonya serves delicious breakfasts in the homestead’s beautiful art filled dining room and also provides gourmet sandwiches as a light lunch to the in-house guest, and including the hair and make-up stylists on the day of the wedding. Breakfast is also served to the bride and groom the following morning before departure.
TRANSPORT
It is an RMS and Council requirement that all guests must be bussed into the property from various pick-up points in Kiama or Gerringong as we only have 8 car spaces to allocate to in-house guests and the vendors. The names of suppliers will be provided for reliable services so that you may obtain quotes. A traffic management marshal is included in our package to ensure parking and the venue regulations of transport management are adhered to.
